A Duck and Reiki

November 18th, 2009

I have a Pekin duck. His name is Klaus von Duckers.

He’s not your typical duck. He’s my duck :-) and he’s a part of my family.

Mr. Klaus von Duckers has a friend.

His friend’s name is Reiki. I know that Reiki is his friend because that’s what he told Animal Communicator Janet Roper.

Why would a duck have a friend named Reiki and why would he be talking with an animal communicator?

You see, in September 2009, Duckers was attacked by a dog. The dog bit a part of his bill off.  The vet said Duckers would be be okay, but I knew that he was in pain.

In Loving Memory of Delia

August 22nd, 2009

Shortly after I started BocMeow in 2007, I was blessed with two beautiful fur clients, Delia and Daisy.

They were sisters, though not blood related. They became clients of mine because of their mom’s busy work schedule.

Delia 2007

Daisy 2007

During their time in California, Delia and Daisy spent a huge amount of time with me and my husband in our home.  So many mornings I spent driving to pick them up from their home to bring them into my home for the day.

July Foster Dog of the Month

July 10th, 2009
Dillon was rescued from a very high kill rescue. He was EXTREMELY matted & dirty, so much so that he had to be shaved down to the point that he didn't look like a schnauzer. This picture was taken 7/10/09. His hair has grown out and he's just about ready for schnauzer cut!

Natural Alternatives for Pet Health (disinfectanct)

May 26th, 2009

Back in November 2008, BocMeow posted a recipe for a disinfectant that is made with essential oils.

The essential oil disinfectant helps with air-borne bugs. It also acts as an anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It is safe around dogs!*

*(Please note: essential oils are harmful towards cats so please do not use any type of essential oils around your kitties!!!)

To get the recipe, click HERE

For more tips on natural alternatives for your pet’s health, stay tuned!

Each Tuesday, BocMeow will post a blog about something related to helping your pet without the use of chemicals.

Please do you own research before making any final decisions after reading BocMeow’s blog. We are simply sharing information that has been of benefit to our pets after much research on our part.
