May Foster Dog of the Month
My name is Scruffy. I need a home! Will you be my future mom or dad? Please?? To learn more about me, please read my story below.
Scruffy is a 2 year old Poodle mix.
He is looking for his fur-ever home, someone who will have patience with him, someone who will give him unconditional love.
Scruffy was found sleeping in a golf cart with his buddy Jack.
Jack found his fur-ever home, but little Scruffy is still waiting patiently to be adopted by kind, loving humans. When Scruffy was rescued, it was obvious that he had been out on the lamb for a while. He was very dirty and way too skinny.
Currently, Scruffy doesn’t get along well with other dogs.
He’s slowly learning that other dogs are okay, but he’s not 100% secure around a pack of dogs. With the right people, and plenty of patience, that can change. It is not known how Scruffy is around cats.
The only time Scruffy barks is when he hears something out of the norm, i.e. a strange noise, a loud noise, etc.
He is neutered and waiting for his new home. He’s a cutie who loves being held as well as a lot of one on one attention.
