March’s Foster Dog of the Month
Meet Trapper, an older guy looking for someone he can devote his life to.

Trapper is a loyal boy looking for his forever home.
Trapper is approximately 8 or 9 years old.
While that may seem old to some, he’s still a young guy at heart. Don’t let his age deter you. With a healthy diet and endless love, Trapper will be around for a long, long time. He loves long walks, it’s something he looks forward to on a daily basis. He would be good in a home with someone who either works at home or is retired as Trapper loves to receive one on one attention; though any home that offers him unconditional love will make Trapper a very happy pooch!
(stay tuned for a video on Trapper walking)
Like many schnauzers, Trapper can be a bit on the vocal side at times.
Usually the “barkiness” is due to excitement and does not last too long. However, if he’s talking, it’s only because he’s telling you how much he loves you or how much he enjoys his dinner time! He will listen to whoever loves him, so the barking is only a temporary issue.
Trapper gets along with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. He may attempt to chase a kitty, but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and only has 2 teeth!
He currently lives with several cats and there has never been a problem other than a bit of excitement during the initial meeting.
Trapper is a true lap dog.
He loves being held. If you’re looking for a pal to share your nights with, Trapper is the boy for you. All he wants is love and he lives for being held.
As you can tell in the video below, Trapper is a mellow guy.
He loves sunbathing and loves being talked to. The more praise Trapper receives, the happier he is. As much as Trapper loves to be praised & loved is as much as wants to share his heart with someone. He’s patiently awaiting for his life long companion. He’s a treasure to know and it will take a special person to have the honor of sharing their life with such a treasure.
If you think you’re that special person for Trapper, please contact Miniature Schnauzers and Friends or BocMeow. Be sure to mention BocMeow’s Foster Dog of the Month Program to receive the benefits of the program!

I love miniature German schnauzers! We had one named Peppi but she died before her 9th birthday from congestive heart failure. She was my favorite pet!
