Essential Oil Disinfectant
Within this blog is an all natural disinfectant that you can use in your home that acts as an anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal and is safe around dogs. It even helps with air-born bugs!
The recipe for the Essential Oil Disinfectant Mix is as follows:
Fill a 2 oz glass spray bottle with:
Spring water almost to the top
10 drops of Tea Tree oil
10 drops of Eucalyptus Oil
15 drops of Bergamot or Lemon oil
Finally, a drop of detergent to act as an emulsifier and shake.
Do not mix in a plastic container as some oils will react poorly in such a container.
Never use essential oils on cats, can be deadly! Cats are very sensitive to oils, even coming in contact with motor oil can be harmful to them.
You can use the essential oil mix on dog beds, counters, floors, etc. Just a few sprays will do.
