I'm so sorry to see that Dasher went over the rainbow. It's a heart-wrecking feeling. I lost my three beloved cats within 2 years. I know that feeling.

Dear Shannon- I am humbled and honored by your incredibly generous words. In whatever small way, I am glad to have contributed to Dasher's well-being. But it was your extremely caring and intensely devoted heart that took the information and ran with it. Many pet parents aren't willing to go that extra mile needed when a beloved animal is really sick. Most aren't willing to look and research beyond the words of their vet. So kudos to you, dear girl! I am so glad to know you continue to be aware of your never-ending relationship with your heart-dog, Dasher. May the two of you always bless one another with love and joy that can only change form, but never die.

It was a joy to Reiki Duckers. He definitely taught me something too. Here is our blog on him. http://reikifurbabies.com/index.php/2009/09/20/an-amazing-reiki-talk-session-with-the-sweetest-duck/

I have to tell you I was in Tokyo when we got the request. So healing energy was coming from Venice, CA where Candy was and Janet in MN and Tokyo where I was at the time. Duckers taught me something very special that day and I even remember it was my birthday. I'll never forget Duckers.

Hi Shannon - my Mom always introduces a new doggy into our family when its 'time'. Well we are thinking in that direction and Henry has captured our hearts. Challenge - Henry is in LA, we are outside DC..... PLUS, Henry is not a GenChan......or is he.......hummmmm. BOL! We love Henry's face and he's just the right age.... wish we were closer.
