August Foster Dog of the Month
Sparky is a 4 year old male Miniature Schnauzer. He is approximately 23 pounds. After several months in doggy boot camp, he is a well trained boy but needs an alpha owner to remain a balanced dog.
Sparky was rescued from a high kill shelter that was very much over crowded.
He was dumped there by his owner. We suspect Sparky might have ended up at the shelter for not being so good with kids.
We found Sparky needed a bit of an attitude adjustment.
As a result, Sparks spent several months at boot camp where he was fully retrained as well as beautifully obedience trained.
Sparks is an intensely loyal dog who would make a wonderful companion.
However, he does need an alpha owner in order for Sparky to be a happy, balanced dog.
He is a playful boy and great with other dogs. He loves the dog park!
